Dr. Ron Smith is the executive director of the Francis Asbury Society in Wilmore, Ky. Prior to accepting this position, he was President of Wesley Biblical Seminary, Jackson, MS. for 12 years. Dr. Smith has also been a pastor in New Jersey and Mississippi, and the churches he pastored were marked by conspicuous growth. He is in demand as a preacher in churches, conferences, and camp meetings.

He earned his Doctorate at Drew University in New Jersey, writing his dissertation on the life and ministry of Henry Clay Morrison, evangelist, long-time president of Asbury College, and founder of Asbury Theological Seminary.
