Dr. Rick Boyd was not raised in the church but rather pursued and worshipped idols all his life until he came to Christ at 31 years old (while reading Genesis). He was called to seminary at 34, called to PhD work in New Testament at 45, and began teaching Bible at Wesley Biblical Seminary at 54 where he is currently in his fifth year. He teaches Inductive Bible Study method (both Old and New Testaments), Greek, and a variety of other Bible courses. He and his wife Jodi are both originally from Illinois but the Lord has led them to Kentucky, Minnesota, Iowa, back to Kentucky, and now live in the Jackson, MS area. They have been married for nearly thirty years.
